Partonic is a framework for building business applications, developed by ZoneIT. The product required a comprehensive visual overhaul—the existing interface was based on a 1990s aesthetic, which hindered sales opportunities and hindered the framework's positioning as a modern enterprise tool. Rycman Concept designed a complete visual system and a dedicated landing page to support the sales campaign.

UI Design System + Landing Page

Over the years, Partonic has evolved into a functional tool—technically sound, yet visually rooted in decades-old aesthetics. The outdated interface acted as a sales barrier: it was difficult to present the product to potential enterprise clients without immediately asking about the planned redesign.

The nature of the framework posed an additional challenge—components must work in different application contexts, and the content of forms and views changes depending on the implementation. The visual system had to be flexible enough to function independently of the content, and consistent enough to ensure that any application built on Partonic would look professional without additional design work.

Component Audit — We inventoried all the standard framework elements: inputs, forms in windowed and full-screen modes, action tree, toolbar, data grid, checkboxes, toggles, radio buttons, tab panels, and activators. Only with this complete list did we begin working on the direction.

Stylistic Direction — Business applications have specific requirements: no excessive animation, high readability during long work sessions, consistency over creativity. We proposed a direction based on clean typography, a well-thought-out spatial hierarchy, and subtle highlights—modern enough to win a board presentation, restrained enough not to be distracting during everyday work.

Three-Theme System — Instead of a single design, we created three switchable themes (including a dark variant), covering colors, borders, and highlight states. Each theme runs on the same set of components—zero redundancy, complete consistency.

Typography — The previous solution relied on randomly selected typefaces. We proposed a coherent typographic system tailored to the context of office applications: legible at small sizes, neutral for extended use.

Landing Page — In parallel, we designed the Partonic demo page as a sales tool that works outside the ZoneIT website structure—ready for use in campaigns and presentations.

Solution
A complete visual system in Figma, including 12 types of framework components, three switchable color themes with a dark variant, a login screen, and a product landing page. All components were designed for two display modes: windowed and full-screen.
